LaLiga chooses Automatic TV as a tactical analysis tool for its clubs
The new technology developed by Mediapro will allow instant analysis of the game by creating a tactical camera view in all 42 stadiums of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3.
LaLiga is going to provide the 42 teams of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 with Automatic TV, a technological solution to produce the tactical signal of the matches. The new tool, developed by Mediapro, will soon be installed in all LaLiga stadiums to retransmit the signal with a tactical camera in FullHD. Thanks to this innovation, LaLiga and Mediapro take another step in their strategy of providing clubs with the best technological advances for a detailed analysis of the game and the tactics deployed by both the team itself and the rival.
Thanks to fixed cameras that will be installed in all stadiums and software developed by Mediapro, all matches in the two competitions will have a tactical view that will allow the clubs' technical teams to analyze, live, the development of the match with the additional function of editing videos.
Once the match is over, the images from this camera will be imported into the Mediacoach system and made available to all clubs to improve their performance by facilitating the most sophisticated analyzes of the game and the performance of the players. Mediacoach is the video analysis tool developed by LaLiga and Mediapro and already used by all clubs in both categories.
“LaLiga continues working to be at the forefront when it comes to audiovisual technology, always seeking the benefit of its clubs and SAD with this technology that will be very useful to them, and also for its fans, giving them an extra something as happens in the case of innovation in broadcast technology,” stated Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga.
The production of the images recorded by Automatic TV monitors the game that takes place on the field, offering a plan that includes all the players present on the field at all times. The analyzed images will also be provided to the television operators so that they can illustrate the tactical approaches of each of the teams both in television analysis programs and in the broadcast of the match itself.
