AVIT Vision brings to Spain the fiber optic solutions of the North American Cleerline Technology
Cleerline Technology is known for fiber optic solutions that are more durable, reliable and easier to terminate than any twisted pair cable solution currently available.
AVIT Vision has expanded its offer of professional solutions with fiber optic solutions from the North American firm Cleerline Technology Group.
Cleerline has revolutionized fiber optic connectivity with its cables Cleerline SSF by offering a solution to the fact that copper cables have reached the limit of their capacity to carry the bandwidth required by current video signals 4K60 4:4:4 HDR.
Cleerline SSF fiber optics have been developed so that they can be installed, managed and terminated just as easily, if not more so, than CAT twisted pair cable. Furthermore, thanks to its patented proprietary technology, it has managed to eliminate the traditional drawbacks of conventional optical fiber such as tensile strength, limited bending angle, difficulty in termination, need for specialized personnel and special tools, etc.
The AV system integration industry is beginning to realize the benefits of using fiber optics instead of CATx twisted pair cable for some moderately long distances between signal sources and displays. Cleerline SSF products solve the traditional problems associated with fiber installation. Its use and termination does not require any training or certification and it is the safest and most durable fiber on the market.
Cleerline's main commitment to fiber is because it is more durable, easier to work with and more reliable, while providing an infrastructure capable of functioning today and during the new generations of technologies that will come in the future. It is only necessary to do a simple calculation to realize that CATx cable does not support the latest requirements for distributing uncompressed Ultra High Definition video content. The current HDMI specification requires 18.2 Gbps of bandwidth and a perfectly installed CAT6A cable is limited to 10 Gbps. In order for a system integrator to meet the requirement of uncompressed 18 Gbps video distribution in current installations, it is necessary to use fiber in some of its variations.
