Promax solutions for fiber optics in accordance with the new ICT law

Promax develops a complete range of equipment and tools to carry out the fiber optic installation tasks required in type F installations, in accordance with the new ICT that requires the use of equipment that certifies the optical fiber that the home builder must leave installed and ready for the operators.

The new Regulation of the Installer Registry (Royal Decree 244/2010 published in the BOE on May 5) established a series of requirements for the installation of fiber optics to the home (FTTH). Complying with this new regulation, Promax has developed a complete range of equipment and tools to carry out the fiber optic installation tasks required in type F installations.

The incorporation of ultra-fast access infrastructures to the new ICT implies that fiber optics will reach the home (FTTH). Given this new context, the new ICT requires the use of equipment that certifies the optical fiber that the home builder must leave installed and ready for the operators.

As fiber optics remain a relatively new technology for most installers, Promax introduces a new generation of lightweight instruments designed to be very easy to use for installers accustomed to installing other technologies and to provide results in an easy-to-understand format.
