Televés presents its new range of devices for signal distribution over fiber optics

Its solutions cover all the needs for the deployment of this type of networks according to the requirements of the new Common Telecommunications Infrastructure (ICT-2).

Thus, the company has presented its new range of devices for signal distribution over fiber optics, which covers all the needs for the deployment of this type of networks according to the requirements of the new Common Telecommunications Infrastructure (ICT-2).

The Televés product family for fiber optics is made up of registers, multifiber cables and accessories for connectorization. It is also complemented by other equipment related to this technology: field meter, light generator, fusion splicer and accessories. In this way, Televés puts in the hands of the professional everything necessary to undertake the fiber optic installations from the interior telecommunications installation area (RITI) of the building to the home, under the conditions established by Royal Decree 346/2011 and Order ITC/1644/2011, which regulate ICT-2.

Within the fiber optic range, the following equipment stands out:

• Interior main register. It allows the orderly deployment of optical cables and fibers once the splices or fusions have been made, with up to 48 SC/APC connectors and protected by oven-lacquered metal cabinets with electrostatic paint.
• Secondary record. Designed for installation in the party wall of each floor of the building. It can support up to eight output fibers.
• User access point (PAU). It makes the link between the dispersion network and the user network, and can be used as a socket for fiber optics. It is offered in two references, for two or up to four SC-Female adapters.
• Fiber optic cables. Televés considers the quality of the cable an essential parameter to guarantee perfect reception of the signal by the user. For this reason, the company has poured all of its experience and technological capacity into offering three different models of fiber optic cables, 2, 24 and 48 single-mode fibers. All of them have a low sensitivity to curvatures and comply with the ITU-T G.657-A2 standard.
• Accessories. Televés' complete range for signal distribution over fiber optics includes fusion protector, mechanical splice, SC/APC connector, single-mode SC/APC(m)- SC/APC(m) patch cord, and SC/APC(h)-SC/APC(h) adapter.
