IBC 2018 will house the celebration of a cyber security forum focused on the average sector. The event will be part of the Annual IBC Fair that will take place at the Amsterdam RAI from Thursday 13 to Tuesday, September 18, 2018 with the participation of more than 57,000 attendees from 170 countries.

The Cyber Security Forum is a one -day duration event (access only by invitation) that will bring together technology and security directors for discussing the challenges and opportunities presented by cyber security for broadcasting. Attendees will discuss how to anticipate the next cyber threat, how to manage an infraction and how to prepare for the future of cybersecurity.

With increasingly common cyber attacks worldwide, companies are realizing that they need to develop a proactive strategy to deal with cyber crises. In the center of this transition are business leaders who are expected to design, manage and implement a solid cybersecurity strategy for their organization. Now, as the media and broadcasting organizations develop sophisticated digital channels, IBC is gathering technological leaders to discuss the development of an effective cybersecurity strategy, maximizing the return of safety investment, emerging cybernetic threats and the way companies can protect their organizations against cyber attacks in the future.

The Cyber Security Forum will include papers such as Brian Brackenborough, Ciso de Channel 4 or Melody Hildebrandt, Global Ciso in 21st Century Fox, which will explore the risk and resistance in cybersecurity in an entire average company. Rob Silvers, PAUL HASETINGS LITTLE PARTNER AND SELL SUBSECRETARY OF CYBERNETIC POLICY OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY OF THE USA, will explore the relationship between the risk and return on investment, focusing on how to effectively manage cyber risk.

The event will aim to address some of the most pressing cybersecurity challenges facing the industry, providing a platform for the main executives to discuss the need to boost a comprehensive cybernetic plan that integrates the risks of people, capital and technology throughout the organization. The sessions will explore the way in which various business components - including IT safety, human resources, fraud compliance and prevention - can meet to create a single cyberspatial organization.

The IBC cyber security forum will also have a work lunch in which delegates will participate in a cyber security exercise specially designed for the IBC by Scott Borg, who has helped design and carry out cyber security deployments for the United States and Estonia, as well as cyber warfare games for corporate and military participants.
