The Netflix production center will be located in Ciudad de la Tele, a new 22,000 m² campus in Tres Cantos (Madrid) currently under construction and managed by the Secuoya group.

Netflix announced today the creation in Madrid of its first production center in Europe.

The headquarters will be located in the City of Tele, a new 22,000 m² campus in Tres Cantos (Madrid), currently under construction and managed by the group Secuoya.

Ciudad de la Tele will be the production headquarters for the offering of original content in Spanish in the coming years, including existing titles and new ones produced by Netflix, as well as series and films produced by partners.

As part of this multi-year collaboration, Secuoya will manage the facilities, among other services, becoming its exclusive production services partner for all projects developed on the Ciudad de la Tele campus. Netflix will occupy three 1,200m2 soundproofed sets starting in September, with the option to occupy additional space when construction of the campus is complete.

The creation of this center reflects a increase in Netflix investment in Spain, with more than 13,000 people including cast, crew and extras working on 20 Netflix original productions throughout the country this year. Ciudad de la Tele is the new audiovisual campus located in Tres Cantos, Madrid, currently under construction and managed by Secuoya. The campus will initially consist of 22,000 m² of production space, including five sets measuring between 1,200 m² and 1,500 m² and with the possibility of reaching more than 100,000 m² with future expansions.

Each set is completely independent and has its own annex spaces for makeup, wardrobe, production office and much more.

The campus is equipped with the latest technology in production, production and editing, as well as an auditorium with capacity for more than 250 people. Ciudad de la Tele will offer a complete service from pre-production to the completion of the audiovisual project.
