The Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-Production Forum presents a powerful panel of Commissioning Editors

The 14th edition of the Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-production Forum will take place in San Sebastián from September 25 to 27, 2018.

Of the September 25 to 27 Within the framework of the 66th San Sebastián Festival, the 14th edition of the Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-Production Forum. Every year, this forum organized by the Association of Independent Audiovisual Production Companies of the Basque Country (IBAIA), welcomes more professionals from the film industry linked to the documentary genre who come willing to learn, from the hands of experts, the latest trends in this field and thus obtain tools that benefit the development and strengthening of new projects.

The members of the panel, made up of television stations, sales agents and leading national and international distributors, will try to convey to the selected producers and directors what are the best elements for their documentaries to stand out at a time when this genre is booming.

During the pitching day on September 27, at the Kursaal Palace, the director and producer of the project will have 7 minutes to present all the potential of their project and show the teaser to the panel members and the audience.

The program is complemented by an agenda of individualized meetings of approximately 12 minutes between the Commissioning Editors and the representatives of the projects presented, with the aim of finalizing possible collaboration agreements.
