Mariano Barroso will direct a new original series of Movistar+. In this case, tomorrow will address the origins of ETA and the first murder of the organization, whose victim was the civil guard José Antonio Pardines.

On June 7, 1968, ETA leader Txabi Etxebarrieta crossed 'the invisible line', murdering the first of the 853 victims of the terrorist organization, the Galician civil guard José Antonio Pardines, only 25 years old.

A few hours later, Txabi Etxebarrieta himself was killed in a confrontation with the civil guard, thus becoming the first terrorist to kill and the first to die in the history of ETA.

Fifty years after these events, Movistar+ produces in collaboration with Sentido Films a six-part series based on an original idea by Abel García Roure and written by Alejandro Hernández (Tomorrow, All women) and Michel Gaztambide (There will be no peace for the wicked, Giants).

The director of All the Women, Ecstasy, The Wolves of Washington… thus takes the lead in the first Movistar+ series based on real events.
