Thierry Donard chooses Sony's FS7 II and FS5 II 4K cameras to record his new film 'Magnetic'

For the filming of 'Magnetic', Sony's compact and lightweight FS7 II and FS5 II camcorders were subjected to extreme temperatures ranging from freezing cold to 40 degrees Celsius and spent in a variety of locations, from the French Alps to the towering peaks of Pakistan.

En lugar del formato RAW, el equipo eligió el códec XAVC y S-Log de Sony para capturar contenido 4K con una calidad extraordinaria, lo que también les permitía mantener los tamaños de archivo a niveles prácticos. De este modo, lograron un flujo de trabajo rápido y eficiente para almacenar y gestionar el contenido mientras se desplazaban.
