Sony presents the new extension system for Venice at the AEC MicroSalon

In addition, at the event organized by the AEC it will be possible to test the camera, the latest in the CineAlta range, as well as the new professional 4K HDR BVM-HX310 reference monitor.

One more year, Sony will participate in the MicroSalon AEC next December 14 and 15 at the Community of Madrid Film School (ECAM). Among other events, the director of photography Alfonso Parra, AEC ADFC will present the tests of the Sony VENICE that he did in Cartagena de Indias and that he took to CineGear.

This initiative is modeled after the event organized by the AFC (Association Française des Directeurs de la Photographie Cinématographique) which has positioned itself as an essential event for the sector in France.

The AEC MicroSalon becomes a great opportunity for discover Venice in Spain, Sony's new CineAlta camera. It is necessary to remember that this is a camera designed to expand the creative freedom of directors of photography, filmmakers and other professionals in the production sector. And it has an impressive full frame sensor, capable of capturing images in almost any format, including full frame 24 x 26mm, Super35 and anamorphic.

Particularly noteworthy is the presentation of the new CBK-3610XS extension system for Venice, which allows the camera body to be separated from the image sensor unit up to 5.5m without compromising high image quality. This system, in addition to being highly lightweight (1.9 kg with PL mount or 1.4 kg with E-mount), improves functionality when recording with gimbals, hand-held stabilizers, underwater housings, 3D and virtual reality platforms, as well as in vehicles and enclosed spaces.

Monitor 4K

On the other hand, at the Sony Professional stand it will be possible to test the new 4K HDR reference monitor BVM-HX310, presented at the last IBC in Amsterdam. This monitor was created in response to the industry's desire to overcome the challenge of inaccurate image evaluation, especially in terms of black reproduction capabilities. It offers accurate color reproduction and high contrast performance to give content creators the absolute best image quality.

In addition, it will be possible to exchange impressions with various Sony representatives such as Fabien Pisano (Head Of South Region), on December 14; or Sebastian Leske (European Product Marketing Manager), available on both December 14 and 15.
