Telia selects Ateme to drive its next generation OTT offering in Estonia

Titan, Ateme's complete distribution solution, enables Telia Estonia to enhance its OTT offering with a premium video experience.

Telia Estonia, one of the largest telecommunications companies operating in the Baltics, has selected the solution Titan of Ateme to compress and package your next generation OTT offering.

The goal of the project is to expand the reach of high definition services throughout Estonia and introduce new packaged formats.

Titan, Ateme's complete distribution solution, enables Telia Estonia enhance your OTT offering with a premium video experience. Ateme's Stream algorithms maintain content fidelity at a minimum bitrate. It allows Telia Estonia to extend the reach of its HD profiles to the most remote homes and significantly improve the quality of service.

On the other hand, Titan, a pure software-based encoder that can Run on any COTS or virtualized server, will allow Telia Estonia to quickly deploy high-quality live channels. With E3 CPU-GPU processing capabilities integrated into the VCA cards, Titan delivers up to 60 Full HD profiles per RU, reducing power consumption to a few watts per channel, while maintaining high encoding fidelity.

Used with AMS, the service-oriented and scalable Ateme management system for all Titan applications, Titan simplifies deployment and operations.
