Ángel Gómez prepares his feature debut in Spain with 'Voces'

The Spanish director is also preparing his international launch with the feature film 'Behind' based on his award-winning short.

The Spanish director Angel Gomez, whose horror short film Behind has won more than fifty national and international awards, is preparing his feature film debut with You, written by Ángel Gómez himself together with Víctor Gado and which will be produced by Feelgood Media (Juan Moreno and Guillermo Sempere), Kowalski Films (Koldo Zuazua), The Nube (Jose Carmona and Ana Figueroa) and Study V (Arantxa Domingo, Roberto Sanz, Sofía Aranzana and Ángel Gómez himself).

You is a classic horror story centered on a family and the suggestive power of psychophonies, a claustrophobic and deeply disturbing film that we are convinced will mark one of the most brilliant debuts in genre cinema in Spain in recent years.

Los international rights of You have been acquired by Film Factory and the film is currently closing its financing.

At the same time, Ángel Gómez is preparing his leap into the international market with Behind, the feature film based on his award-winning short film to be produced by Sam Raimi, Lionsgate and Scott Glassgold's company Ground Control.
