The new Christie DS Series comprises three powerful projectors with a 4,000,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 50,000 hours of operation.

Christie just presented in NAB 2019 your new Serie DS which comprises three powerful 3LCD laser projectors with levels of Brightness between 7500 and 9000 ISO lumens and a five-year or 15,000-hour warranty, whichever comes first. The projectors LWU755-DS, LHD878-DS y LWU900-DS Christie's feature a 4,000,000:1 contrast ratio and are lighter and quieter than almost any other projector on the market.

The DS Series comes with a 360º orientation, which allows for flexible installation, a large number of input/output options including HDBaseT, low maintenance and even 50,000 hours of operation, features that make it ideal for uses in higher education, businesses and medium-sized meeting spaces.

The projectors LWU900-DS and LHD878-DS only require one motor, and are brighter, smaller and more energy efficient than any other competitive model, and a leader among affordable, mid-brightness laser 3LCD projectors. With a power of 9000/8,775 lumens and a relationship of 4,000,000:1 contrast in WUXGA/HD resolution, the two projectors are especially suitable for medium/large-sized environments or high ambient lighting that require higher brightness levels.

Making it clear that an affordable price does not have to come at the expense of quality and quantity of features, the LWU900-DS and LHD878-DS projectors accept 4K signals at 60Hz, have built-in warping and edge blending and come with a low power mode for a maximum of 50,000 hours of operation. Small, light and omnidirectional, these projectors are easy to install in places with a lack of space and fit very well in all types of environments.

Brad Martin, Christie's product director, highlights that "the patented optical engine of the Christie DS Series is more efficient than that of our competitors thanks to the compact laser diode block, a design that modifies the shape of the excitation light spot, replacing its rounded configuration with a rectangular one, and disperses the energy through the phosphor wheel, thereby improving its reliability."

Brighter, smaller and more energy efficient than other projectors of its type, the Christie LWU755-DS is an economical, medium-brightness laser 3LCD model designed for applications in small and medium-sized spaces. with his power of 7,550 lumens and one 4,000,000:1 contrast ratio In impeccable WUXGA resolution, this projector displays various types of content with great detail precision.

Designed for hassle-free operation, the LWU755-DS features built-in edge warping and blending and advanced color management. Small, lightweight, available in black or white and with omnidirectional capabilities, the Christie LWU755-DS is easy to install in places with lack of space and fits perfectly into any type of environment.

All three models offer easy integration with control like AMX and Crestron, and are equipped with LiveViewer, allowing the user to share audio and video content directly from their PC or laptop with the projector over a local area network, or wirelessly (for which an optional USB dongle will be required). HDMI Loop-Through allows you to pass HDMI input signals – up to 4K at 60Hz – to other DS Series projectors without the need for a distribution amplifier or splitter.
