Christie has just added the new DHD800 digital projector to its product line. Aimed at the professional market, the Christie DHD800 offers 8,000 ANSI lumens and native Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution in a 1-chip DLP projector. Thanks to BrilliantColor technology, it is one of the brightest dual-lamp projectors on the market and offers 10-bit image processing, interchangeable color wheel, and color matching with edge fading on all four sides.

Successor to the Christie DHD700 digital projector, the Christie DHD800 is a tremendous value for extended use and 24/7 applications, including the staging rental market, as well as use in houses of worship and medium to large meeting, training and conference rooms that need a cost-effective DLP solution.

The switchable color wheel allows users to choose between high-brightness optimization for large spaces and rich color reproduction for video content.

The DHD800's unique ability to swap color wheels provides customization not very common in other products on the market. This projector began shipping in August.
