Artificial intelligence, eSports and video games, focuses of the Third Observatory of New Technologies of Malaga
The Observatory consolidates its line of growth as the most relevant event in Spain for multidisciplinary knowledge of advances in New Technologies, compared to the large video game fairs, eSports and meetings of different disciplines that only address vertical developments in a single field of action.
The third edition of ONT (Observatory of New Technologies), which organized by Medina Media Events will be held again in National Digital Content Center of Malaga he July 17 and 18, will put its main focuses this year on the artificial intelligence (AI), go video games and the eSports.
The Observatory consolidates its line of growth as the most relevant event in Spain for the multidisciplinary knowledge of the advances in New Technologies, compared to the large video game fairs, eSports and meetings of different disciplines that only address vertical developments in a single field of action.
The objective of the ONT is to offer a panoramic view of the national and international developments that are produced each year in New Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Video Games, eSports, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, 360, Serious Games...
This year the event agenda will focus on five blocks of content: artificial intelligence, video games (including Serious Games), national success stories, international success stories and eSports.
Although the official agenda will not be made public until a month before the event, the level of the Malaga Observatory already last year included the participation, among others, of NASA, the University of Cambridge and the Olympic Channel. And this year it will be no less.
In the 2018 edition, attendees were able to learn about the applications to Medicine and Surgery that are already carried out at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid, at the Virgen del Rocío in Seville and at the University of Málaga.
At the Observatory, attendees will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about different success stories of Spanish and international companies that are invited every year to attend the Auditorium of the National Digital Content Pole of Malaga.
This year's New Tech Observatory coincides with the Video Game Week in Malaga, which is celebrated from July 12 to 21 and has its greatest exponent in Gamepolis, considered the best video game fair in southern Europe, which is now in its seventh edition and which was attended by more than 52,000 young visitors last year.
Among the large number of activities that will be carried out, the presence of international companies in the sector such as Nintendo stands out. Several tents and a stage will be installed in the Plaza de la Marina in Malaga where visitors can participate in different activities. Likewise, the 'Nintendo Switch Truck' will be present, a two-story trailer where competitions, contests, raffles and exhibitions will be held, among many other activities.
