The audiovisual services company Euro Media Group just acquired 42 HDC-3500 cameras of Sony with capabilities 4K is IP. Sony's service and training offering, coupled with the cameras' powerful combination of native 4K pickup and IP capabilities, will help optimize your return on investment and reliably deliver high-quality production in a wide variety of applications and environments – from studios to sporting events and entertainment.

The objective of this investment is complement Sony's current fleet of 4K and IP solutions available to Euro Media Group, including system cameras HDC-4800, HDC-4300 y HDC-2500 and series mixers XVS.

The HDC-3500 gives Euro Media Group the ability to serve its diverse clients in live production environments without compromising quality or flexibility, thanks to compatibility with legacy systems and accessories.

It has the first sensor 2/3″ 4K CMOS with global shutter technology in the world, delivering impeccable 4K image quality with incredibly low noise (-62 dB), extraordinary sensitivity (F11 at 1080/50p) and high dynamic range. The HDC-3500 system camera, which was recently announced at the NAB show, will also support wireless 4K operations with the addition of the HKC-WL50 interchangeable side panel, making it ideal for portable operations.

On the other hand, it uses the same operating method as other Sony HDR-compatible cameras to offer Support for Sony's Live SR for HDR workflow. In this way, a single team can produce both 4K HDR and HD SDR at the same time to reduce hardware and personnel costs in the organization's multi-format productions. By helping Euro Media Group deliver effective HDR production services to its clients while maintaining the highest SDR quality, the company can anticipate future production needs while offering full compatibility with current workflows and requirements.

The HDC-3500 model, which Follow EBU Tech 3371 integration recommendations and offers full compatibility with SMPTE ST2110, reinforces Euro Media Group's clearly defined IP technology strategy to develop new concepts using Remote Integration Architecture (REMI), which it plans to implement in Europe by 2020. The company has already planned the first implementation in the Netherlands, and is currently operating live with other Sony ST2110 compatible solutions such as the HDCU-3100 camera control unit and the XVS-8000 video switcher.
