O Plus invests in Ikegami UNICAM-HD HDK-99 cameras

O Plus Media Technology, a Hong Kong-based production company specializing in augmented reality and virtual reality studio design, invests in five camera systems Ikegami including HDK-99 HD camera heads, BSX-100 HD-STD base stations, OCP-300 operations control panels, FA-97A fiber interfaces and LCD viewers (VFL201A and VFL-P700A).

Based in Kowloon Bay, north of Hong Kong Island, O Plus has extensive experience in AR, VR and extended reality production for a wide range of applications, including event promotion, education, music performances, educational workshops and general entertainment. The O Plus graphics team works closely with its clients to turn their concepts into successful presentations.

Ikegami HDK-99 camera systems are part of the UNICAM-HD series. The imaging section consists of three 2.6-megapixel high-performance CMOS image sensors that deliver high HDR image quality with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution with progressive scan. HLG mode maintains the high contrast needed for HDR and complies with the international ITU-R BT.2100 standard. The noise is less than -62 dB and the sensitivity is high, F12. The sensors natively support 1080i/59.94, 1080i/50, 720p/59.94, 720p/50, 1080p/29.97, 1080p/25, and 1080p/23.98. The HDK-99 also supports 3G formats 1080p/59.94, 1080p/50, 1080i/119.88 and 1080i/100.

The function of lens aberration correction Minimizes resolution loss and colored edges caused primarily by lens optical drift. The Quick EZ Focus Assist feature enhances the viewfinder signal, allowing the camera operator to make critical focus adjustments. The area size, area color, border color and viewfinder display time can be adjusted from the camera menu.

Developed for use with the HDK-99 and other Ikegami UNICAM cameras, the BSX-100H base station Provides 3G/HD signal outputs as standard. Optional accessories include a media-over-IP plug-in interface module that allows video, audio, and metadata to be transported as independent IP multicast streams. The BSX-100H can also process the HD output of the HDK-99 to 4K-UHD for output via 3G-SDI quad-link. This option is activated by purchasing a software key.

It features a high-resolution 960 x 540 pixel QHD LCD screen with realistic color reproduction. An integrated heater enables deterioration-free panel performance even at low ambient temperatures.

He VFL-P700A from Ikegami is a 7-inch HD LCD viewer with 1920 x 1080 native resolution and an analog interface. Compatible with UNICAM-HD camera models, it features a high-quality LCD panel and is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Features include vectorscope and waveform displays, a built-in audio level meter, screen markers, multiple format support, HD-SDI and HDMI connectivity, and a wide viewing angle.
