Dubai-based Prime Vision Studio invests in Ikegami UHK-X700 cameras

Prime Vision Studio, a Dubai-based studio and outdoor television content creation services company, has invested in studio/EFP cameras Ikegami UHK-X700 4K to add to your production fleet.

The UHK-X700, a recent addition to Ikegami's Unicam XE 4K series, is designed for use in studio or outdoor applications and attaches to BSX-100 base station of that day camera control unit CCU-X100. On the optical front there is three 2/3-inch 4K CMOS sensors with a global shutter that prevents rolling shutter distortion and flash banding artifacts. The camera is fully compatible with HDR/SDR and allows you to choose between BT.709 and BT.2020 color spaces. Optionally, high frame rate recording is possible at a up to 2x speed in 4K or up to 8 times in HD via the base station, for applications such as capturing fast movements at sporting or stage events.

When combined with the Ikegami BSX-100 base station, the UHK-X700 allows cable lengths up to 3 kilometers, including powering the camera head; Simultaneous output is supported in HD SDR and UHD HDR video formats, including mixed sources. 4K-UHD video is available as a 12G-SDI feed directly from the camera head, allowing the UHK-X700 to be integrated into a wireless system. The camera weighs only 5 kg and includes a B4 lens mount. The optical sensitivity is F11 when operating at a frame rate of 50p, in both UHD and HD.

Peripheral options for the UHK-X700 include the panel de control OCP-300, he MCP-300 master control panel and the system expander SE-U430. Ikegami also offers two types of viewers for this model: the VFL201D (2-inch LCD) and the VFL-P700AD (7-inch Full HD LCD).
