Ikegami's UHK-X700, in the Production Crew mobile unit

Production Crew, division of Aflam Productions based in Riyadh, has acquired 12 camera systems Ikegami UHK-X700 UNICAM-XE 4K-UHD for integration into your new 12G-SDI mobile unit.

Designed and built by systems integrator El Baba Smart Technology, based in Dubai, the vehicle is fully equipped to enable mastering of large-scale outdoor events in 4K-UHD HDR with full broadcast quality. Shady Mokdad, CEO of Aflam Productions, had been using cameras for years HDK-73 in his studies, which made him continue to rely on Ikegami tools for his new mobile unit.

El resposnable de Production Crew destaca entre los beneficios de la solución sus three 2/3-inch 4K CMOS sensors, que incorporan un obturador global para evitar la distorsión de obturación por balanceo y los artefactos de bandas de flash; sus funciones de HDR y WCG, o la corrección de color en 16 ejes, among other features: “The UHK-X700 also includes functions necessary to maintain our reputation for creative excellence, such as optical vignetting correction, remote counterfocus adjustment, viewfinder focus assist, safe zone markers and filter settings.”

UHK-X700 cameras are 3840 x 2160 RGB UHD native and are designed for use in studio applications and pedestal- or tripod-mounted mobile units, as well as fully mobile electronic field production and news gathering. Each UHK-X700 is evenly balanced and has a low center of gravity to ensure easy operation on a pedestal, tripod or shoulder. Each system purchased by Production Crew includes the camera head with a 7 inch LCD viewfinder, a base station BSX-100, an operations control panel OCP-300 and a tripod mounting plate T-430.

It supports simultaneous output in HD SDR and UHD HDR video formats, including mixed sources. 4K-UHD video is available as a feed. 12G-SDI directly from the camera head, allowing the UHK-X700 to be integrated into a wireless system.”
