Woody Allen will return to filming with Mediapro

The filming of the 51st film of Woody Allen's career, with the production title WASP2019 and no official title yet, will take place in San Sebastián from July 10 to August 23.

The filming of the 51st film of Allen's career, with production title WASP2019 and without an official title yet, it will take place in San Sebastian from July 10 to August 23.

The film has a first-class cast made up of international and national actors such as Elena Anaya (Wonder Woman, The mountain range, The skin I live in, Lucía and sexo), Louis Garrel (Mal genio, Love songs, Soñadores o a faithful man, the latter film which he also directed), Gina Gershon (Killer Joe, Burning Bonds, The Dilemma o Way a Way), Sergi López (A perfect day, La propera pell, Pan's labyrinth, Harry, a friend who loves you), Wally Shawn (veteran performer who has worked with Woody Allen in films such as Radio days, Shadows and fog o Manhattan), and Cristoph Waltz (Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds, films for which he has won two Oscars, a wild god o Spectre).

The film tells the story of an American couple who attend the San Sebastian Film Festival. The couple is captivated by the festival, as well as by the beauty and charm of Spain and the fantasy of the world of cinema. She has an affair with a brilliant French film director and he falls in love with a beautiful Spanish woman living in the city. A romantic comedy that is resolved in a fun way.
