Movistar+ will premiere 'On Death Row', a new fiction by Bambú, on September 13

The fiction, starring Miguel Ángel Silvestre, has been conceived by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira and Diego Sotelo (Bambú Producciones) based on the book by Nacho Carretero, with whom they previously worked together on the fiction 'Fariña'.

On death row, an original series of Movistar+, starring Miguel Ángel Silvestre, will be released in full on September 13. The fiction has been conceived by Ramon Campos, Gema R. Neira y Diego Sotelo (Bamboo Productions) based on the book by Nacho Carretero, with whom they have previously worked together in fiction flour.

It focuses on the real case of Pablo Ibar, the Spanish-American found guilty of a triple murder that took place in Florida in 1994. In what was the fourth trial for Ibar, the jury reached a unanimous verdict on the six charges against him. Ibar has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

This weekend it was presented at the Tudela Festival What's coming podcast On death row. An approach to the case of Pablo Ibar and the series, through the investigation of journalist Nacho Carretero. The first 4 chapters will be released at the same time as the series. The fifth will arrive a little later, since it will not be so attached to the series and will be more focused on the current situation of the case.

The podcast will premiere in full on September 13 on Podium Podcast, coinciding with the premiere of the series on Movistar+.

On death row It is co-produced with Studiocanal, which will also take over its international distribution. It consists of 4 50-minute episodes and is directed by Carlos Marques Marcet and produced by Domingo Corral, Ramón Campos, Diego Sotelo and Teresa Fernández-Valdés.
