Live via satellite from El Escorial… with Hispasat

The operator collaborates with the Summer Courses of the Complutense University of Madrid by providing spatial capacity and equipment for the transmission of television signals.

Summer Courses El Escorial

Hispasat sponsors one more year Summer Courses 2019, which is organized annually by the Complutense University of Madrid at the Royal University Center of El Escorial – María Cristina, and which are held from July 1 to 26.

The operator collaborates in the Courses by making a technological solution available to the Complutense University to facilitate a satellite link. The link will be used by the information services and television programs that wish to send the images and current news of the Courses made by the production company of the Complutense University (UCMTV).

Hispasat makes the link through the space capacity of its satellite H30W-6, located in the orbital position 30º West, and makes the necessary equipment for the transmission of television signals available to the university.

The Summer Courses of the Complutense University of Madrid have been, since 1988, an international reference as a forum for intellectual exchange. They aim to be a transversal meeting that responds to the challenges that society has at all times.
