The Argentine director Beda Docampo begins filming in Madrid for 'The Curse of the Handsome'

The film is a Spanish-Argentine co-production between Arcadia Motion Pictures, Cados Producciones, Dammed Bello and Zarlek Producciones.

The Argentine director Beda Docampo (Crazy loves, Francisco, Father Jorge) gets behind the camera again with The Curse of the Handsome, an elegant and clever comedy of con artists who lead Gonzalo de Castro (The Tower of Suso, Superlópez) and the Argentine actor Juan Grandinetti (Appropriate dismissal, Pinamar).

The cast is completed by a large group of renowned actors such as Malena Alterio (Losing the East, Shame), Ginés García Millán (Return to the horizon, Matadero), Cayetana Guillén Cuervo (A gun in each hand, The Ministry of Time), Carlos Hipólito (1898: The last of the Philippines, Living without permission) and Andrea Duro (Wednesdays do not exist, Passage at dawn).

The script is written by Beda Docampo himself, who points out that “The Curse of the Handsome It is a comedy of fine lines that touches on themes that anyone can connect with: parenthood and selfishness, the attraction of easy money, dangerous friendships, the pressure to be successful, postponed vocations, the difficulties of finding a loving passion and the temptations of challenges that, on the surface, are very improbable.

He Filming will take place over six weeks through various locations in Madrid and surrounding areas.
