Amino acquires Dutch online video specialist 24i
24i will enable Amino to broaden and deepen its portfolio of online TV and video solutions to further its high-growth strategic evolution.
Amino Communications, a global provider of technological solutions for media and entertainment, has announced its intention to purchase the Dutch provider of online video solutions and services 24 i.
Donald McGarva, CEO of Amino, recognizes that "24i, fast growing, is a great strategic acquisition for us, bringing us closer to a decisive leadership position in the market. 24i's leadership in UI/UX applications and TV/Online video Apps not only complements our product line, but 24i also shares our vision of where the industry is going and the agility and culture of innovation necessary to make it profitable."
24i's portfolio of solutions and services power video experiences for the world's leading entertainment brands, including NPO, iflix, KPN, PureFlix, RTE, NLZIET, Fox Sports, Globo and Sinclair Broadcasting Services.
With this transaction, Amino will add a broader and deeper product set, a talent development capability, complementary skills and greater geographic reach through its offices in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Brno (Czech Republic), New York and Los Angeles (USA), Madrid (Spain) and São Paulo (Brazil).
