Fabric acquires BB Media, a company specializing in data science and market research
The acquisition of BB Media on the part of Fabric will enable Origin and other branded solutions to deliver the “most comprehensive, connected and actionable” data ecosystem for the media and entertainment industry.
Using the knowledge of BB Media in the matter of data management and control, Fabric will combine its customers' libraries with measurement data to find opportunities and make better distribution decisions. Currently, BB Media has detailed monitoring of the streaming platforms, pricing models and catalog metadata in more than 200 countries which provides deep insight into market trends and content availability around the world.
In parallel, Fabric foresees that the capacity of discovery, automation and precision of Studio data “significantly improve.” Likewise, these parameters will be closely related to the capabilities of IA of the solution, created to provide “relevant and real-time” information that helps drive business growth.
