Ikegami will unveil its HQLM-3125X 4K-UHD master monitor and HDR option for the HLM-60 series at IBC
In IBC 2019, Ikegami will release the new HQLM-3125X, and 31 inch reference monitor Premium 4K-UHD with a resolution of 4,096 × 2,160 pixels 10 bit and high brightness (1,000 candles per square meter).
Designed for the evaluation of critical images in broadcast production control environments, the panel employs LCD double layer technology to achieve a relationship 1,000,000:1 contrast with true black reproduction. A layer of light modulating cells enables pixel-by-pixel control of backlight intensity, reducing light leakage and black float.
Fully compatible with wide color gamut BT.2020, the monitor incorporates 12G-SDI x 2, 3G-SDI × 5, 3G/HD-SDI and single-channel HDMI inputs as standard. The viewing angle for critical image evaluation is 178 degrees (horizontal/vertical). Supports 1D and 3D LUTs. The HQLM-3125X can be controlled remotely via Ethernet, RS-485 or locally from the front panel.
In the same series, the Ikegami HQLM-1720WR It is a compact monitor UHD HDR for a wide range of applications in broadcast environments. It is equipped with two 12G-SDI input channels as standard for efficient setup with equipment such as cameras and switches. 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and HDMI inputs are also included as standard. The HQLM-1720WR employs a 16.5-inch 3840×2160 pixel UHD LCD panel with LED backlighting and can play high-resolution 4K and 2K images.
HLM-2460W
Ikegami will also demonstrate a HDR option for your HLM-60 family of broadcast-quality high-definition monitors. This option includes electro-optical transfer function tables for HLG, S-Log y S-Log3 in addition to the conventional range.
It can be added as a retrofit update to all monitors in the HLM-60 series, which currently includes the HLM-2460W, HLM-1760WR and HLM-960WR. All three can be controlled remotely via Ethernet, RS-485 or from the front panel.
The Ikegami HLM-2460W incorporates a 24 inch LCD panel 10:9 Full-HD 1920 x 1200 pixels and 400 cd with a 10-bit resolution. SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, Ethernet and multi-format VBS inputs are supplied as standard. Operational features include 2x and 4x zoom, dual split picture, point-to-point display, time code display, user marker display (preset/user configurable) and shadow function, under-monitor and on-monitor channel identification display. Test signal generation, waveform monitor and vectorscopes with adjustable image and test signal mixing are also provided.
A smaller version of the HLM-2460W with similar features, the HLM-1760WR has a 17-inch Full-HD LCD panel with 1920x1080 pixels and 450 candelas per square meter with a 10-bit resolution.
Optimized for use in ultra-compact mobile production vehicles, Ikegami's HLM-960WR is a highly compact multi-format LCD monitor with a 9-inch Full-HD 1920 x 1080 pixel, 400 candela per square meter LCD panel with 8-bit resolution. This model offers very narrow front-to-back dimensions, light weight, AC or DC operation, and low power consumption. An optional battery holder is available.
