ICTA honors Christie with the Teddy Award for Best Manufacturer of the Year
The International Film Technology Association, which brings together more than 180 manufacturers and companies related to the sector around the world, recognizes Christie's role.
The International Film Technology Association (ICTA) just distinguished Christie with the Teddy Award for Best Manufacturer of the Year.
The award, decided by a vote of ICTA's active members, recognizes each year the association's manufacturer “that best exemplifies the progressive principles of product development, offers distributors up-to-date technical and commercial information and service, and firmly supports the prestige of its products.”
Kazuhisa Kamiyama, president and CEO of Christie, recognizes that "it is a great honor for Christie to receive this award. In addition, the fact that our colleagues are the ones who have given it to us makes it even more valuable. We are firmly committed to continuing to provide our excellent services and to remaining at the forefront of cinema technology. A commitment fully supported by the history of innovations of the last sixty years, by our current investment in the development of Christie RealLaser, a technology that allows us to offer spectacular moments to cinema audiences, and by the incredible performance and value that we guarantee to our partners in the film sector.”
"At such an exciting time for our industry, seeing your excellence as an organization recognized is an enormous privilege. Christie has earned this award for relentlessly maintaining a high level of sales and technical service, combined with amazing technological development," he said. Robert Sunshine, executive director of ICTA.
