Mediapro's remote production saves 4,000 tons of CO2
The remote production system for soccer matches developed by Mediapro's innovation and audiovisual services departments already has 1,500 productions.

The system developed by the innovation and audiovisual services departments of the audiovisual group avoids the movement to the football fields of large mobile units, replaced by smaller but more efficient and ecological vehicles, and of part of the production teams, which means moving 40% fewer professionals and a reduction of 2,700 kilos less CO₂ emissions per match.
The technical equipment for remote production implemented by Mediapro consists of six small mobile units aimed at outdoor production and 48 cameras with their respective operators, which rotate in the 42 first and second division stadiums, connected to the control central, located in the production center of Barcelona, from where the production team works.
The remote production project, developed and implemented internally by Mediapro since 2013, therefore allows significant energy savings, but also a homogenization of the quality and style of production. Furthermore, with this formula it is achieved prolong the life of technical equipment, and at the same time optimize the resources dedicated to each production, which means a better conciliation for professionals, according to Mediapro.
