Playz and Caña Brothers prepare ‘Circular’, a terror series shot vertically

This fiction project, designed for Instagram, will use special effects thanks to a team of action specialists.

Playz, the RTVE digital channel, prepares Circular, a horror series designed to broadcast in Instagram that will use care special effects and has had action specialists in the filming.

The fiction project, produced by RTVE in collaboration with The Brothers cane, authors of the original idea, will be released on December 27, in the Playz account on the social platform, @Playz.es, and will have content on its website, on Instagram and on YouTube.

The Transmedia project is starring Irene Ferreiro (Skam Spain), Guillermo Campra (Under the network, Boca Norte, Neverfilms…), María de Nati (Under the network, God forgive us, victim number eight), Lucas Velasco (All for the game), Chacha Huang (Losing the East, La Casa de Papel), Mario March (THE PROTECTED, THE MAN OF YOUR LIFE) Y Valdenebro (I'm alive, serve and protect, six sisters).

It will consist of several characters presentation prologues, three 15 -minute chapters in vertical format published between December 27 and 29 and a live program of 10 minutes on December 30 in horizontal format, to consume on YouTube and the Playz website.

The series, Created by Jorge Navarro of Lemus and Nacho Lopez Murriaand Directed by Juan Occina, has been filmed entirely in the Madrid Metro through mobile phones vertically and some horizontal planes to simulate security cameras in the tunnels, lobby, stations and trains of the Madrid Metro.

After the success of An unforgettable New Year's Eve At Christmas 2018, Playz continues to bet on Circular for a quality fiction with a high level of production to be distributed through a platform in which the young public is present daily and at any time.

In the last days of 2017, the young Oscar Crespo disappeared in strange circumstances in the subway of his city. His trail disappeared and nobody has known more about him so far. At Christmas 2018, six young people disappeared in the same place.

A year later, two research journalists publish on the Playz Instagram account a reconstruction of what happened to those six young people through the videos they recorded in their mobiles and the subway security cameras.
