The Imagine Community, in collaboration with La Caña Brothers and Montreux Entertainment, film 'Lobo'

This week the filming of 'Lobo', a feature film directed by Alfonso Cortés-Cavanillas, and written and starring Marian Álvarez, began in Cantabria.

This is the first film signed by the actress, who has developed the script together with Jorge Navarro de Lemus, author of feature films such as Ego.

Lobo is the fourth film by Alfonso Cortés-Cavanillas. The director and director from Madrid presented his debut film in 2012 The Unlived Days, with which he won the award for best film at the Cinemafest Festival in Mexico. In 2018 he directed Deaf (2018), starring Asier Etxeandia, Marian Álvarez and Imanol Arias, among others, and awarded the 2019 Feroz Critics Award. As to Lobo is a social drama that tells the story of Sara, a woman who flees from her abuser accompanied by her dog. The film addresses the theme of sexist violence through a novel approach, that of the human-animal bond in an abusive environment.

Along with Marian Álvarez, Nora Navas, Luis Callejo, Toni Acosta, Pau Cólera, Victor Duplá and Andrés Gertrúdix complete the cast. The actress is also accompanied by Lolo, her own dog, who in the film is Lobo.
