Filming begins on 'The Tale of the Wolf', a film by Secuoya, Álamo and A Contracorriente

Different locations in Tenerife host the filming of 'The Wolf's Tale', an adaptation of the novel 'Reasonable Doubt' by Borja Ortiz de Gondra produced by Secuoya Studios, Álamo Audiovisual Productions and A Contracorriente Films.

The tale of the wolf, directed by Norberto López Amado (The invisible girl, Wounds, Sara's notebook) con Nestor Calvo to photography direction, is defined as a ethical thriller that reflects on sexist violence and social commitment, bringing together all the ingredients of a story of suspense and intrigue. The film, which features Eduardo Campoy in the production, it stars Daniel Grao (Juliet, Hit), Lucía Jiménez (Missing, Mothers. love and life), Paco Tous (Zorro, The Money Heist) and María Romanillos (The consequences, Don't look in the eyes).

This feature film, whose entire filming will take place in different Tenerife locations, is the audiovisual adaptation of reasonable doubt, work of the writer and playwright Borja Ortiz de Gondra. This is a project that puts on the table a moral conflict, as the production companies involved in the film explain: "What do you do when you have before you a reality in which, depending on how you act, it can change and take another direction? What kind of person are you? The one who intervenes despite the possible consequences or the one who looks the other way?"

This is the synopsis of The tale of the wolf: "Olga and Javier, a middle-class couple, witness how the girl who is going to clean their house receives threatening messages on her cell phone. Faced with this situation, they decide to intervene, thus facing a sudden change in life. The appearance of the girl's father, doubts and differences increasingly generate more questions in a situation that is complicated to resolve. What is the right thing to do? This thriller is a story with boundaries between the public and the private."
