Filming begins on 'Héroes de barrio', Ángeles Reiné's second film
The second feature film by Cádiz director Ángeles Reiné is produced by Antonio Pérez for Spal Films, Eduardo Campoy and Eduardo Galdo for Álamo productions and Galdo Media, with AIE Palacios Gador.
The filming of the new movie Ángeles Reiné, Neighborhood Heroes, started a few days ago in Seville.
The second feature film by the Cádiz director, after Exit the Wardrobe, is a family comedy about a father, played by Antonio Pagudo (There is no one who lives here) who is not doing well in business. The cast is completed by Luna Fulgencio, Antonio Dechent, Alex O'Dogherty, Lisi Linder and Jesús Olmedo, among others.
The story is based on Paula, a girl who plays on a women's children's soccer team and asks her father, Luís, to bring her the Betis player Joaquín at the end of the season, with whom he pretends to be a good friend. Luís relies on his father, a former boxer, and his friend Lito to try to win back the love of his wife, who now lives with a new partner. All of them, characteristic characters from a popular Sevillian neighborhood, will experience fun adventures to achieve the girl's wish.
The film is produced by Antonio Pérez for Spal Films, Eduardo Campoy and Eduardo Galdo from Alamo Productions y Galdo Media, with AIE Palacios Gador. It has the collaboration of the ICAA, the Junta de Andalucía and Canal Sur and will be distributed by A Contracorriente Films. Filming will continue until the end of April in locations in Seville and Alcalá de Guadaira.
