Filming begins on 'A Past Ahead', a film directed and written by Olga Osorio

Vaca Films and Who kills with iron AIE are the promoters of A past ahead, feature debut by Olga Osorio whose filming has begun in Galicia.

A past ahead is defined as a “imaginative and moving adventure” which represents a bet on the quality family entertainment. The film takes place in the summer of 1989, when two very different brothers aged 13 and 11 (one a soccer fan and the other a “know-it-all”) deal in their own way with the disappearance of their mother, a scientist who died in an accident while investigating wormholes.

A past ahead - Filming - Olga Osorio (Photo: Esteban de la Iglesia)The cast of this film Olga Osorio is headed by Martha Nieto y Tamar Novas, in addition to the young people Mario Santos, Rubén Fulgencio and Irene Jiménez, and the veterans Mabel Rivera and Manuel Manquiña. The germ of A past ahead is located in the short film Einstein-Rosen of Olga Osorio herself, who obtained great national and international success and who participated in more than 240 festivals around the world resulting in awards in many of them.

This tape with the participation of RTVE and the support of Amazon Prime Video, CRTVG, ICAA, Agadic and the MEDIA Program will hit theaters in summer 2023.
