Filming begins on “Oliver's Universe”, Alexis Morante's first fiction film
Produced by Pecado Films and La Claqueta, 'El Universo de Óliver', will be filmed during the months of April and May between Seville and various locations in the Campo de Gibraltar.
Filming is already underway Oliver's universe, the first fiction film by the two-time Goya nominee Alexis Morante.
They star in the film María León (Goya for Best New Actress for The Sleeping Voice), Salva Reina (Best Supporting Actor at the 2014 Malaga Festival) and Pedro Casablanc (Goya nominee for Best Leading Actor for B), along with Rubén Fulgencio, who plays the young protagonist Óliver. Rubén and the other children who participate in the film have been selected in a casting after more than a thousand interviews.
Oliver's universe It is a story that talks about the magic and adventure of growing up. An exciting coming-of-age that is a love letter to our parents and grandparents, a thank you for having helped us be what we are and a reminder of the tingling of that “first time” felt by the child in all of us.
Alexis Morante himself signs the script along with Raúl Santos, Miguel Angel Gonzalez, based on the latter's novel of the same name and written in collaboration with Ignacio del Moral (Goya for Best Adapted Screenplay and author of The sleeping voice o Mondays in the sun).
The film, which will be shot during the months of April and May between Seville and several locations in Campo de Gibraltar, is produced by José Alba and Olmo Figueredo González-Quevedo for Pecado Films (Trip to a mother's room, Gernika) and La Claqueta PC (The infinite trench, The drawback) respectively, with the executive production of Odile Antonio-Baez y Sara Gomez and in co-production with Sinehan Capital AIE.

El proyecto cuenta con la participación de Radio Televisión Española, Canal Sur y CreaSGR, la financiación del ICO y el apoyo del Programa MEDIA Europa Creativa, la Junta de Andalucía y la Mancomunidad de municipios del Campo de Gribaltar.
Antípodas Film Lab, el nuevo laboratorio destinado a convertirse en referente del sector en Andalucía, colaborará en todo el proceso de postproducción del proyecto. La Diputación de Cádiz y los Ayuntamientos de Algeciras, Los Barrios y San Roque han manifestado también su interés en ayudar en el proyecto.
