Kalicon Media shoots season 3 of 'Acoustic Home' for HBO Max

The musical documentary series 'Acoustic Home' is filming its third season in leading settings in Bizkaia, in an original format of Sony Music Premium Content Iberia and produced by Kalicon Media.

The broadcast is planned in 2024 on HBO Max for Spain and Portugal, and for EITB on your streaming platform perfectly fine, three months after the premiere on HBO Max.

With ten artists as protagonists, the third season will feature the presence of the best musicians from Spain and Portugal. Some of the names that will be part of the poster are Vicco, author of the hit Nightlight; Coque Malla, winner of the 2023 Ondas Award for his musical career; Alizzz, producer of great hits and winner of 3 Latin Grammy Awards; and artists like Richie Campbell, considered one of the most important and international voices in music in Portugal.

The talent team joins the direction and script Alexis Morante, renowned and award-winning director of film, advertising and video clips, and will also have the co-directed by Daniel Strömbeck, prestigious director linked to music.

Morante has directed projects as important as Bisbal, the documentary (2023), Sanz: What I was is what I am (2018), Camarón: flamenco and revolution (2018), o Bunbury: The Longest Way (2016), among others. His work as a whole has earned him a Latin Grammy winner and a three-time Goya Award nomination.

Each episode will have a duration of 50 minutes, and the format will be impregnated with a more cinematic vision, turning each chapter into a sensory experience from the hand of the protagonist artist and bringing the viewer closer to living an immersive experience from the point of view of his songs performed live.

News of the season

Among the new features of this season, the artist will be the one who guides his own episode, performing his greatest hits and narrating the most important stages of his professional career, accompanied by a camera that will be in his most intimate moments before, during and after the concert.

Another novelty will be the location, Bizkaia has been the province chosen as the filming location for this new installment, where it promises to surprise the viewer with its impressive staging. Pozalagua Cave, La Alhóndiga de Bilbao or the Campos Eliseos Theater will be some of the locations this season.

The journalist Carlos H. Vázquez, with more than eighteen years of professional career, has collaborated for various media outlets such as Esquire, El Periódico España, The Objetive, ICON (El País), Mondo Sonoro, among others, he will be in charge of interviewing Spanish artists. For its part, Ana Ventura, renowned Portuguese music journalist and presenter of Acoustic Home In the previous two seasons, he will interview artists from Portugal.
