Avid presents its latest developments for studios in Madrid
Avid demonstrates how the Avid S4 and S1 control surfaces open up a world of possibilities never before possible for music mixers, small studios and educational facilities.
Avid has presented this Friday at Utopicus Club in Madrid some of its latest solutions for studio audio in both musical, television and film post-production.
In this event he has participated together with Avid, Dolby y Audio-Technica, who have addressed the latest news in Dolby Atmos immersive sound and the different applications of monitors Genelec. Avid partner, SES Audio, official distributor of the S4, was also present.
Precisely the new console has been the star of the day, making evident the endless flows and integrated solutions that fit countless needs.
Pep Agullo, Territory Account Manager Sales EMEA Audio at Avid, after welcoming the attendees, gave the floor to Dave Tyler, EMEA Audio Pre-Sales Manager at Avid who has outlined some of the characteristics of the new products launched by the manufacturer at NAMM 2020 and that could be seen for the first time in Spain.

As for the S4 brings the power and workflows of Avid's Pro Tools S6 control surface to budget-conscious audio professionals and small to medium-sized music and audio professionals in a more compact, ergonomic package.
Designed for small and medium studios music and audio installations, Avid S4 delivers S6 workflows to any editor or mixer. It acts and feels like a physical extension of the software, providing an exceptionally integrated experience with any Eucon-compatible audio application, such as Pro Tools, Nuendo, Pyramix, Logic Pro, Cubase and other audio programs.
S4 also allows engineers to quickly assign and control sources and talkback, listenback and speaker levels directly from the surface to handle everything from simple cue mixes for music recording to monitoring immersive audio projects.

Audio professionals can connect up to four units together, and even add Pro Tools Dock, to create a single expanded and integrated surface. Another novelty is Pro Tools MTRX Studio. The latest addition to the MTRX family of audio interfaces has been developed together with Digital Audio Denmark. Pro Tools MTRX Studio combines high-quality inputs and outputs, Extensive routing and monitoring capabilities in a single 1U rack space. In this way, it is emerging as the centerpiece in a studio, ideal for music and professional audio post-production facilities and studios of all sizes.
