Dante - Audinate - Unitecnic

The Unitecnic headquarters (Mediapro Group) in Getafe (Madrid) and the auditorium of the Imagina building in Barcelona have hosted several sessions dedicated to audio and video solutions in Dante IP networks (Audinate).

A large number of clients and users gathered at these technical sessions to discover both the latest improvements of Dante in relation to its consolidated presence in the field of audio, and all the possibilities offered by Dante AV, Audinate's leap into video over IP networks. Currently, more than 550 manufacturers OEMs are licensed for Dante technology and offer more than 3,800 network video and audio devices, such as video cameras, microphones, speakers and amplifiers.

In the audiovisual field, the sessions served to learn more in detail about the keys to Dante AV, a solution that allows you to add video and control capabilities to your existing Dante platform. DanteAV arrives in different modalities including compatibility with UHD environments with Dante AV Ultra, a system that allows you to work with 4K 60p video at 4:4:4 with ultra-low latency, or Dante AV-H, a solution that allows cameras that deliver video in H.264 to use Dante and manage it with Dante Management.

Those attending the conferences Unitecnic, which regularly organizes technical sessions aimed at professionals in the broadcast sector, also had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in Dante Connect, the cloud-based Dante audio transport solution. The system has recently launched the long-awaited remote contribution through WebRTC to existing uncompressed Dante audio transport streams. This functionality allows you to capture Internet-connected Dante sources around the world as an audio source, offering customers a new, lower bandwidth option to easily add a commentator or any other audio stream to the broadcast.
