The 5GForum in Malaga will be totally virtual
The speakers and attendees will intervene and participate from their usual places of work through the network.
He 5GForum, the main event on the new 5G technology that will be held in 2020 in Spain, maintains its call for the May 6 and 7 in Malaga and it will be totally virtual, with the speakers and attendees intervening and participating from their usual places of work through the network.
Ricardo Medina, CEO of Medina Media Events, organizer of the event, acknowledges that "we have never considered canceling the 5GForum. The coronavirus has posed a challenge to the imagination of how to make the advances and implementation of 5G in Spain shared by the entire technological, scientific, industrial and business community. An innovative alternative had to be found, taking advantage of the possibilities opened by the digital era and 5G."
"The cancellation of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and many other mega-world fairs, has prevented there from being a meeting place where all development agents in the world of 5G can share their experiences, their proposals, their ideas and their advances. And the 5GForum 2020 will be one," highlights Medina.
In the coming weeks, Medina Media Events will select the technological solution with which it will work in the third edition of the 5GForum.
The official agenda of the 5GForum 2020 will offer more than 20 presentations and several round tables, and will also organize virtual meeting rooms so that those registered can hold 15-minute meetings with the speakers or with other attendees with whom they want to establish contact and propose business opportunities.
“Even if we lose real demonstrations in our Demo Area, and let's give up skin-to-skin networking between speakers and attendees, we believe that it is worth betting on sharing knowledge, through videoconference presentations, and accepting the challenge of using the possibilities of 5G and New Technologies to overcome the problems caused by the first pandemic of the 21st century," says Medina.
The 5GForum 2020, of which Panorama Audiovisual es Media Partner, meets annually since 2008 at the National Digital Content Pole of Malaga to the main experts, companies and multinationals involved in the development of this new technology, which allows greater speed in Telecommunications and which will be applied to practically all industrial sectors of the new digital age.
