Cisco adds live streaming capability to its Webex platform

At a time when broadcasters and work teams find their best ally in videoconferencing, Cisco has added to Webex Meetings the ability to broadcast live streaming con plataformas como Facebook Live, IBM Video Streaming, Vbrick, YouTube, Twitter con Periscope, LinkedIn y Workplace by Facebook.

In fact, Webex Meetings is compatible with any live streaming platform that supports the Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP o RTMPS).

Now available in Webex Meetings (and soon in Webex Events) the combination of these solutions will help you virtually reach thousands of both external and internal audiences

Everything in a simple way. Once the feature is enabled by the administrator, Webex Meetings hosts can broadcast meetings directly to the live streaming platform of their choice.

All broadcasts, which can be started or stopped at any time during the Webex meeting, include audio, video, and content shared while the meeting is active. In addition, during the broadcast you continue to enjoy the full Webex functionalities.
