TVE trusts Magnetron and acquires more than 250 Sennheiser wireless microphone channels

The Sennheiser 6000 digital series has been the brand chosen by RTVE for the renewal of the wireless microphones of its Production Centers in Prado del Rey, Sant Cugat and the Canary Islands.

Spanish Radio Television has been awarded to Magnetron one of the largest wireless microphone contests in recent times developed in the broadcast environment.

Sennheiser and specifically the serie digital 6000 has been the brand chosen by the public Corporation for the renewal of wireless microphones of the Production Centers of Prado del Rey, Sant Cugat and Canarias.

Francisco Gomez, director of the professional division of Magnetron, highlights that this has been "a project that has been very worked on by our engineering department and completed by the commercial department, since we had been designing the best option for more than a year to cover the demanding needs of RTVE, and only the Sennheiser digital 6000 series has been able to cover them. There are many frequencies working simultaneously, in a hostile environment, and continually threatened by the Digital Dividend, so we have had to fine-tune a lot. and only with the Sennheiser digital 6000 series can we ensure that large number of frequencies working together without any type of intermodulation.”

Gómez highlights that “a total of 126 double digital receivers Sennheiser EM 6000 (252 channels) They will be distributed throughout the different centers, as well as 268 bodypack transmitters Sennheiser SK 6000 and more than 330 MKE 2 and MKE 40 lavalier microphone capsules, in addition to the 134 handheld transmitters Sennheiser SKM 6000, with different microphone capsules Sennheiser MD 9235 cardioid dynamics, ME 9005 supercardioid condenser, ME 9004 cardioid condenser and capsules Neumann KK 205 supercardioid condenser.

“Camera receivers have also been acquired Sennheiser EK 6042 along with all its accessories to work both autonomously and to be able to insert them into any camcorder model, these being fully compatible with the different handheld and bodypack transmitters of the digital 6000 series," he adds.

All handheld and bodypack transmitters work with Lithium-ion batteriesor, so the different charging and control accessories have been supplied, as well as enough spare batteries to have any transmitter under control at all times and with sufficient autonomy to cover any event.

Magnetron is the exclusive distributor for Spain of Sennheiser, as well as other leading brands in the audio market such as Neumann, FBT, Klipsch and Jamo.
