Magnetrón supplies SRS with the first Spectera system (Sennheiser) in Spain

Magnetron, distribuidor exclusivo de Sennheiser en España y Portugal, ha confirmado la adquisición por parte de Sistemas y Servicios Audio – Sonorent (SRS) del sistema Spectera, una solución definida como el “primer sistema inalámbrico bidireccional de banda ancha del mundo”.

La operación supone, en palabras de Magnetron, un “milestone” en el sector del audio profesional en España, ya que Spectera introduce llega para introducir “una nueva dimensión” en la conectividad inalámbrica para espectáculos en directo, broadcast y eventos corporativos. Su tecnología de transmisión bidireccional en banda ancha garantiza hasta 64 digital channels in a single rack, ultra-low latency and centralized control that optimizes reliability in demanding environments.

The delivery made to Audio Systems and Services (SRS) includes, among other equipment, four Spectera 32×32 base stations, forty bidirectional wireless beltpacks, ten directional/transceiver antennas and operating licenses for Europe. The operation also covers charging modules, batteries and accessories.

Francisco Gomez, director of the professional division of Magnetrón, celebrates the agreement: "For us it is a pride that a company of the prestige of Audio Systems and Services trusts in Magnetron and Sennheiser to make this technological leap.
