Sennheiser Series 2000: new range of wireless microphones

The German company presents at NAB'09 a highly flexible product line ideal for television and video production.

This new series is made up of handheld transmitters, bodypack transmitters, with single or double receivers. For monitoring, professional users can combine the diversity series receivers with transmitters for individual monitoring or double transmitters as well. Additionally, 2000 Series devices are compatible with accessories from previous versions of the 3000 and 5000 series, including lavalier microphones, combiners, antennas and boosters.

To facilitate its operation, the entire series offers screens, or dot matrix displays, that present clear information and allow navigation through a very intuitive menu that even occasional users of the 2000 Series will be able to control in a few minutes. The devices have an alert system that warns the user about changes made to their configuration, which eliminates the possibility of making unwanted modifications.
