Sony URX-P41D

Sony launches the URX-P41D two-channel portable receiver, compatible with the multiple interface (MI) shoe with digital audio interface and sold independently and as a kit.

It has all the main features included in the fourth generation of the UWP-D series, such as improved sound quality thanks to the digital audio processing, the NFC Sync function for quick and easy setup between the receiver and transmitter, and features such as auto gain mode and output level control.

As part of the UWP-D series, the URX-P41D works with all UWP-D transmitters (backwards compatible with previous generations) and will be available as a stand-alone receiver and as part of a new kit, the UWP-D27, which will include two UTX-B40 bodypack transmitters.

The URX-P41D is ideal for a wide variety of users, from news and broadcast productions to action-packed interviews or series and documentary productions, with Sony XDCAM™ camcorders and Alpha™ interchangeable lens cameras.*

They are DSP (digital signal processing) Improves sound quality by optimizing a constant range of time between the transmitter and receiver, which increases the accuracy of sound reproduction. It offers excellent transient response performance that, in the case of interview recordings, produces clear and crisp audio.

With the hot shoe adapter SMAD-P5 multiple interface, you get direct digital audio recording and high sound quality with low noise, thanks to the omission of the D/A and A/D conversion process. The interface is compatible with a wide variety of Sony XDCAM camcorders and Alpha interchangeable lens cameras.

Plus, it integrates seamlessly with Sony camcorders and displays audio information in the viewfinder for improved field usability.

The NFC SYNC function, allowing for quick and easy channel setup
Quick and easy channel configuration for reliable RF transmission is essential when time pressure is high. This feature is designed to make frequency adjustment quick and easy, improving ease of use. Simply pressing the NFC SYNC button on the receiver for a few seconds automatically scans the appropriate frequency. Then, simply touching the receiver to the transmitter synchronizes the channel, delivering optimal speed and efficiency.

Reduced size

Al reduce receiver size Compared with previous generations, the URX-P41D can be placed on the top of the camera or ILC attached to the multi-interface hot shoe or fixing bracket, which improves the balance of the camera.

On the other hand, the external microphone input For an additional wired microphone expands your sound capture options. Through this input, you can record three-channel audio using a Sony lavalier microphone. Additionally, four-channel audio can also be recorded by using a stereo microphone connected to the external microphone input.

The URX-P41D allows reduce interruptions in reception (RF signal loss) if a spatial diversity reception system is used, which offers very stable reception thanks to its two reception antennas. You can also adjust the angle of the antennas on the portable receiver, which helps to further prevent signal loss.

Finally, note that the auto gain modeto and the output level control They guarantee the user that the audio levels will be correct during recording. Auto gain will help prevent unwanted distortion and the output level control (with an XLR cable) will allow the user to increase the output level when necessary.
