Valencia will host the 36th edition of the Goya Awards in 2022, culminating the Berlanga Year
The tribute to Berlanga will extend throughout 2021 and will culminate in the 2022 edition of the Goya, which will be awarded in the land of the renowned director and screenwriter.
Valencia will be the headquarters of the 36th Goya Awards, which will be held in 2022, culminating the celebration of the Berlanga Year, with which Film Academy In 2021, it commemorates the centenary of the birth of one of the fathers of the institution and a reference in Spanish cinematography.
The capital of Turia will be the location that will host the big night of Spanish cinema in 2022 and will also have a presence at the next Goya gala, which will be held on February 27, 2021 at the Teatro del Soho CaixaBank in Malaga.
From this space, a live connection will be made with the Palace of the Arts of Valencia who will inaugurate this great tribute to the Valencian filmmaker with a special performance, which will be one of the great moments of the ceremony. A gala that will adapt to the new situation, with capacity restrictions and extreme measures established by the health authorities, and that will be presented and directed by Antonio Banderas and María Casado.
