Sound Devices updates its 8 series mixer-recorders

Firmware version 7.00 includes SuperSlot support for Wisycom MCR54, the addition of Q-marks compressors, the NoiseAssist plugin demo mode, and expanded options for Scorpio channels 17-32.

Sound Devices has released major firmware for its Series 8 mixer-recorders and its companion app SD-Remote. The firmware version 7.00 includes a long list of additions and improvements. He Wisycom MCR54, uno de los lanzamientos inalámbricos más esperados de 2020, es ahora compatible con SuperSlot. The new demo mode plugin NoiseAssist allows audio professionals to test the NoiseAssist plugin on their device before purchasing a license. The demo version of the NoiseAssist plugin comes preloaded on the Series 8 mixer-recorder with version 7.00, so no additional download is required.
