Furthermore, in 2005, Calle launched the Latin American Information Alliance, which every day offers a news exchange between 22 of the main private television networks in Latin America and the United States.

Gonzalo Cordoba, president of Caracol TV, has highlighted that "there are many lessons that Luis left to those of us who were fortunate enough to have him at our side as a great teacher. There are countless journalists who have trained with him since he returned to the country after a successful career in several international networks. Therefore, we are aware of the challenge and commitment we have to maintain his legacy. Professionally, a comprehensive structure, fine criteria and a clear awareness of duty and decency."
