Philips Professional Display Solutions will now operate under the PPDS brand
As part of the new 'total solutions' strategy for the audiovisual industry, whose objective focuses on adapting to its growth and evolutionary approach with complete solutions and continuous support.
Philips Professional Display Solutions will operate from now on under the brand PPDS and with a new strategy with the motto Driving evolution. With more than a year of planning, the new PPDS brand has a functional and equally improved website, replacing the previously existing identity of Philips Professional Display Solutions.
“More than a simple change of expression, PPDS marks an evolution for the company, reflecting its continued strategy for strong market growth, and positioning itself as a forward-thinking company that supports its clients, as well as the industry as a whole,” they say.
As part of that new brand strategy, PPDS is now accelerating its main strategic business flows with the aim of providing even more value to the AV channel and its customers.
Chris Colpaert, general director of EMEA, AP and NA at PPDS, highlights that "our new strategic direction focuses on total solutions, global presence and sustainability. The time is right for this important strategic redirection and to give our organization a new identity: PPDS."
This manager also points out the corporate bases of this change: "we have a solid financial position and firm foundations as part of TPV, the largest monitor manufacturer in the world and the leading provider of display solutions; continuous investment internally and in our factories, as well as the proven quality of our Philips brand professional displays. This is a brilliant stage for our organization."
Ron Cottaar, marketing director at the new PPDS brand, adds that "it all starts with driving evolution. We help our clients bring their ideas to life, and inspire them to push the limits to create and implement new ideas they didn't even know were possible. This means we work together, listen to business needs and bring solutions to life."
The new PPDS identity "combines the best of Philips professional displays with our hardware, software and systems integration partners. Our brand represents the new. The digital. And we connect the people of today with the technology of tomorrow," Cottar reiterates.
For its part, Franck Racape, vice president for EMEA, adds that "at PPDS we are dedicated not only to our own organization, but also to the AV industry as a whole. We continually raise the bar to bring the solutions our customers need when they need them. With PPDS we execute the next phase in the evolution of our company, adding even more value to all our solutions and making it even easier to do business, whether for a simple office or a retailer with thousands of stores around the world."
Taking stock, Racape explains that "the last year has been a challenge for everyone and here it has been no exception. Our people have responded to that challenge with remarkable speed and efficiency, developing solutions such as PeopleCount and support programs such as InSync, which also includes our Unlocked and Total Care initiatives. All of them were developed at lightning speed to bring customers long-term relief during the current pandemic. All this was added to the launch of four new ranges, with collaborative displays for the corporate and healthcare sectors. education; new professional TVs and new LED screens.”
As far as the new PPDS brand is concerned, "it better highlights our agile approach to work, including the continued strategy for open technology, breaking down silos between hardware and software provision and encouraging complete and easy integration with innovative third-party companies - he states -. We will continue to develop this strategy with the dynamism of PPDS to support our clients locally with a global reach and presence, now and in the future."
