Hispasat renews its collaboration with the Atresmedia Foundation for the transmission of the Fan3 channel for hospitalized children

The satellite operator will continue to support the Humanization Program for Children's Hospitals of the Atresmedia Foundation, contributing to the broadcast of the Fan3 channel that is broadcast in 165 hospitals throughout Spain.

Hispasat has renewed its agreement with the Atresmedia Foundation to collaborate in the satellite transmission of the television channel Fan3, intended for hospitalized children and young people. This initiative is part of the Humanization Program for Children's Hospitals that the Foundation has in place.

The satellite operator contributes to the broadcast of said channel and its dissemination in the 165 hospitals of all the autonomous communities that currently benefit from this initiative. In this way, hospitalized minors can have access, free of charge and without advertising, to 13 hours of uninterrupted programming from Monday to Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. All its contents are supervised by the Spanish Association of Pediatrics (AEP) and by the Official College of Psychologists (COP).
This channel combines entertainment content with sections prepared by the Foundation itself, with the aim that hospitalized children and adolescents can understand and become familiar with the disease and the hospital environment in a friendly, enjoyable way adapted to the language of the youngest.

Este convenio se encuadra en la política de Sostenibilidad de Hispasat y en su compromiso con el desarrollo de las personas y la comunidad. De este modo, el operador contribuye a la educación sanitaria de estos niños y a mejorar su calidad de vida durante su estancia en el hospital.
