MOG technology facilitates remote Premier League recording for Iceland

Síminn was looking to acquire an ingestion system that would cover its acquisition needs with a solution that was both powerful, flexible and cost-effective. One of the requirements was to have the media recorded locally, or on your SAN (Storage Area Network), with additional web preview, in order to ensure a constant and fluid overview of incoming signals.

Considering that the acquisition was for a live sports workflow, one of the most important requirements was minimize editing time, as well as the transfer time of the assets. It was also necessary to provide editing and summarizing capabilities while recording (editing as material comes in), to ensure faster distribution on the fly.
