Spanish Television modernizes its 'Telediarios' with a new image and augmented reality
New technologies such as virtual window, augmented reality, graphics and 3D design will be the protagonists of the Corporation's news programs.
After its launch was postponed in mid-January due to the impact of storm Filomena on Madrid, it will finally be this Monday, February 15, when Spanish Television release a new image in your news.
As a result of the work of many months of a multidisciplinary team of the Corporation, the Newscasts They open a new stage with a technological renewal and a change in narrative of the contents.
The news comes to studio A2 in Torrespaña, which expands to become a exterior window, the header, the tune and the entire graphic line and lettering, with new technologies as protagonists. A preview of this renovation could be seen last night in the Catalan Elections special and this Monday's TD-1 will premiere the new image in full.
The change is due to the need to respond to the demands of 21st century viewers: augmented reality, 3D design, modern narrative and graphics, modern scenography and lighting, and an R&D&I workspace are incorporated into the informative content.
An open space
The new decoration is an open space. An empty box has been designed with a simple, light and elegant table that presides alone. The rest is a space for the communicator to move freely.
This great change is due to an attempt to grow the News News space to get away from the table and find better ways to explain content on screen. An immersive and minimalist universe to tell the news through a graphic discourse of great visual impact with the help of new technologies: augmented reality and Virtual Windows, which expands the studio and opens it to the outside, and high-resolution LED screens with an area of 87.5 square meters.
Production control and the set have also been adapted, with new camera robotics, telescopic head crane, LED lighting and a new IP autocue system with voice recognition.
The header and the tune of the news programs are also adapted and the signage model changes, which will be more current and dedicated to informing the viewer. The design is also renewed, with new colors and pickups, and its structure and function change. The tune and sound identity is the work of the composer Josep Sanou, accredited specialist in this type of music.
The new News Newscasts thus debut a great technological revolution as a result of the work of many months of a multidisciplinary team from RTVE from the areas of Image, Graphics, Scenography and Operations, among others, led by professionals of the stature of Jaime Garrido, Cesc Calafell, Fernando Navarrete and Víctor Sánchez.
